TUESDAY MEALS ON WHEELS

2012

To all Tuesday Meals on Wheels team members:                 

I hope you all have enjoyed cooking for the MOW recipients as much as I have, as it’s been fun, enjoyable and fulfilling.  I’ve talked with most of you and you indicated that you wanted to continue serving for the year 2012. This ministry was started in the year 2000, and by my rough calculations, we have met 142 Tuesdays to serve over 17,000 meals to needy people. We so appreciate all of our workers and especially thank Sherie for continuing to lead us so well with this ministry.  Also, we welcome Tom Tipton to our group of workers.  Tom will be the first person to call when a substitute is needed.  He will also be our next replacement when one of our group retires.  Thanks, Tom!  We always need new members for this committee, so if you know of anyone who would like to work with us, please let me know. 

If a date is not good for you, please contact Tom to fill in for you. Also, please let me know when you have a substitute.  I will continue to try to call you as a reminder on the weekend prior to your serving time.
