Or…
We also now have a new form that is easy to complete and automatically submits the information to the webmaster! Just click on the link provided, and you’ll be taken to a simple form that automatically submits your input.
This form will be checked weekly for items to include in the mailer or on our website:
Of course, you can also just access the weekly mailer in a Google Document directly – it’s available online and all you need is a free Google account. Click here to get more detailed instructions on how to access and use the Google Doc.
Share Stories
Do you have a story to share with our congregation?
Anyone who is interested is asked to write a short story about something that God has done in their lives or something that being at St. Paul’s has done for them or means to them. We are looking for inspiring stories so that we can both create a booklet of the stories to use as an evangelistic tool, as well as put them out on the website or through our weekly mailers to inspire each other as church family members.
Stories can have their authors recognized or can be submitted anonymously. Send your stories to Deacon Chris (harpsc@charter.net), Alison Barton (webmaster@saint-pauls.org), or you can submit automatically from here using the following form, which also has the option for allowing complete anonymity: Evangelizing Stories Form
This is an ongoing project, so keep sending ‘em in!
i always grew up in church i like the friendlness of the church the quietness of the church i might not understand everything i like i can sit and the atmosphere of the church i just started going i have been through alot with churches it just takes time for me i am like one of those that was washed up i have helped alot of people in my lifetime
If you have ever searched for a “Spiritual Home” then you know that the task is not an easy one! Mine lasted for many years with subjecting myself to that “round hole for a square peg. Often times I found myself vacillating between settling or giving up. I missed the fellowship I experienced while stationed in Europe with its diverse, unified, loving and teaching atmosphere . Then that all changed……
Because of my limited availability and “catholic tendency’s”…( made you smile didn’t I?) a friend that attends St John’s recommended St Paul’s…. Well I have to say I was sold… In listening to the sermon that day I was surprised to find the minister teaching with an emphasis of “with in the time it was writen”. Father Jay often includes this!. Paired with what I interpreted as a genuine desire to teach love not fear I found myself becoming excited about attending church again.
After services ( I attended the 8:00am) I was always greeted by this gentle, soft spoken red head. She would invited me to socialize, introduce me to people, and saw that I felt welcome each time I attended. I think she could tell that I was a little shy because she took my hand , would smile, and would lead me from the back of the church where I planned to make my escape to the front of the social hall daring me to try and get away with that vibrant smile. This One Person showed me more of Gods love in one month than five churches showed me in 8 years. She reinforced those feelings of being home!
This is why I love St.Paul’s… The Ministry..The People..The Fellowship …and sharing that not only with the community ….but that stranger coming through our doors looking for a home.
