Creating Crafts in Community to Enable Shopping with a Purpose

ST. PAUL’S CHRISTMAS BAZAAR

St. Paul’s Elves led by Paige Kramer, Sandra Little, Adair Murdoch and Alice Pitchie spend several months each year making homemade crafts, gifts, and goodies to sell during our annual Christmas Bazaar the weekend before Thanksgiving. Workshops usually begin the first Tuesday after Labor Day from 9:30 AM to noon. On any given Tuesday, there will be about 20 volunteers crafting in community. Everyone is welcome-even if you do not think you’re crafty or are not a member of St. Paul’s.

Proceeds from the Bazaar go to fund ministries outside our church. Past recipients include Osman Hope, Isaiah 114 House, Cap the Gap, Kingsport Family Resource Center, and Kingsport Community Resource Center. In past years, we have raised over $20,000 to support our designated charities.
